Our Beliefs
ARISE! Ministries is a Christian intradenominational organization
dedicated to helping Native American Pastors and other Native
American Christian Leaders better serve their communities. We
believe that indigenous pastors and Christian leaders hold the key
to reaching Native America with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We
recognize and applaud all those non-native missionaries and
organizations that have toiled over the years to help the native
people of North America know our Lord. But, we believe that this
new century will see native Christian leaders ARISE! for their own
people. To this end all that we do will be focused on native
pastors and leaders. We welcome all that have been given God's
Heart for Native Americans and who can agree with the simple
statement of faith below:

| STATEMENT OF FAITH ARISE! Ministries is an intra-denominational outreach to Native America. In order to better serve in this environment we take no doctrinal or denominational stand and we fully believe our Lord’s word when He said: "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." John 13:34-35 NIV However, we must have Christian standards to which we closely adhere. These standards are straightforward and we will not engage with any organization or individual that cannot come into agreement with this straightforward Statement of Faith: 1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. 2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. 3. We believe in the deity and humanity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His present rule as Head of the Church and in His personal return in power and glory. 4. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful men regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. 5. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. 6. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. 7. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, with equality across racial, gender, and class differences. |
